i was wonder which particle to use for " I called you", I thought it would be "anata NI denwa shita" i am wondering is that right? i dont know. thanks in advanced!!

Yes, you can use the particle "ni" in your example. You can also use the particle "e" （へ） like in "Anata e denwa shita"

Also, instead of "denwasuru" or "denwa wo suru", you can say "denwa wo kakeru". So, "I called you" could also be translated as "anata ni/e denwa wo kaketa/kakemashita".

Both the particles "ni" and "e" can be used to indicate who is receiving a certain action. So, in your example, "You" is receiving the action (a phone call" from "I".

Sometimes it's denwa wo suru, so you can say Anata ni denwa wo shita.

And if you wanna be polite, anata ni denwa wo shimashita. :)
