  1. Mostly: be; be present; live; have;

    Also: need; require; roast; toast; cast metal; mint coins; shoot; fire arrow

  2. Try FreeTranslation.com lots of languages to check out there.

  3. Iru is a verb that shows existence for animate things.

    Neko ga iru = there is a cat

    There are no good translation websites.

  4. You should provide the whole phrase or at least the kanji for the "iru" you're asking for. The meaning depends on the kanji.

    In general usage, it means "the existence of" (居る) animate creatures, or "need" (要る). There are many more meanings but as I have said, it depends on the kanji.

    Japanese online translators are not good. Don't depend on them. Some of us here are honestly trying to help. So keep on asking here at YA.

  5. 'iru' Means to exist. It can only be for living things though. Such as a person or an animal.

    'aru' is for inanimate things like books and trees.

    As for translation sites I would not feel good giving them to you. As there is not a program yet that can translate legible Japanese. Even if you use the characters. Best way is to use this site, get a mate that knows Japanese or learn it yourself.

    I hope this helps :)

  6. I don't know if you would find it but try and find it in

    Languageguide.org

    or

    Google.com/translate
