Right now I'm Actually learning How to read, Write, speak japanese

Which is killing me...

Right now I'm having problems with how a sentence is Arrange.

And how to properly place I and You on a sentence and that aside in my Writing lessons i'm having problems with Strokes especially one with 10 or more...

Do you think I should quit my lessons and by the way I'm learning it just for fun( but now it is not fun at all) and to deepen my knowledge on Literature of other countries...

  1. hi,

I started learning japanese for fun too.. thought to learn the Hiragana at the beginning and i actually learned numbers, greetings, how to deal with people, and how to write a sentence..

Well, at this point i stopped.. it's not an easy language as i think.. especially when i went to japanese shops and discovered i have to learn the Kanji too because shops use it mixed with the Hiragana!!

    What a mess!!!!!

so yeah, i quited! and now i'm learning the Spanish instead... ^_^

Any way, it's your decision after all.. you can continue but to be serious about it and forget about the concept of 'fun'.. you can watch anime or japanese movies for fun and learn too lol.. or you can quit and look for another source of fun!!!

    Regards... =)

  2. yea its really hard

especially to write.. it has 3 diff ways of writing.. urgh

i can speak fluently and read a lil bit, writing i gave up on.. oh well never use it anyway

  3. i also started learning japanese when someone told me some japanese words which i cannot really understand...

then now i'm learning by myself, through internet and anime...

i think the hard part is how they write...

    if i were you i shouldn't quit..

    it's for fun for me...

  4. 日本語?ほんとう?

Personally, I think Japanese is the easiest language I've ever studied... but that's just me. :)

Sadly, not all people are "language people." Some people's brains just can't learn a foreign language. It's no big deal :)

If you want to learn more about Japan and it's Literature, try taking East Asian Literature courses. You don't need to learn the language and can usually find translated material.
