Japanese or German...which should I take for a foreign language requirement?

My major is in Economics (micro is my preference), which language do you suggest I take?

  1. There might be more economic opportunities in Japan, but German is definitely easier to learn since it's a latin based language like English. (In fact a lot of English comes from early German)
