Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm considering it and want to know approx. how much it was, was it worth it, did it make your hair too oily looking, etc?

I'd love to get it done but want to know peoples personal experience rather than googling.

Thanks in advanced!

  1. I've had like 4 done. Just to warn you, it takes 4-5 hours the first time. I only go for touch ups now, and that takes about 3, lol. I'm not sure how much it was, my mom paid but at least $200 for the first time. It was DEFINATELY worth it, it cut down soo much time on flat ironing. It doesn't make your hair look sick or anything, I'm 25% black so i'd have to worry about that sorta thing, but it doesn't. I suggest you get this done if your hair is super curly. Don't dye your hair before it, because it'll cause major hair damage/loss. If your hair is really fine, you might not be able to get it done because of damage, etc. Just go to a salon that does them and do a consultation so they can test to see if you're hair is okay to use chemicals on. Gooood luck! :)

  2. it depends you may not need it unless your hair is super curly. its nice it does cut back on flat iron usage about $300 make sure they are certified to do it and ask their customers how they like it
