Can anyone help me translate this sentences. I'm reading about green consumerism in Japanese but I don't understand what these sentences means.

1. 包装はないものを最優先し、次に最小限のもの、容器は再利用できるものを選ぶ。

2. 作る人に公平な分配が保証されるものを選ぶ。

  1. I assume the guideline is applicable to consumer products.

Japanese sentences are not clear enough to be translated into English word by word.

    The translation is:

    1. The products without wrapping paper should be chosen first. Otherwise, the products with minimum amount of wrapping paper should be chosen next. The container should be recyclable.

    2. The products that guarantee fair distribution to producers should be chosen.

  2. 1) Packing most prefers those which are not, next minimum ones, the

container chooses those which can be reused.

    2) Those where fair distribution is guaranteed in the person whom it

    makes are chosen.

beyond my skill but i used my computers translator. hope u can make some sense of it.

  3. 1.  Packaging is not a priority, then minimal, reusable containers are able to choose.

    2.  Make an equitable distribution of people is guaranteed by a selection.

I know it loses something in the translation, but without the context I don't want to guess at the second one.  The first, however, seems to be saying that the smallest amount of reusable containers should be used (ie. to save materials)
