  1. silver wings = gin no tsubasa

  2. "silver wings" in Japanese is:

    銀の翼(gin no tsubasa)

    composition:

    銀(gin) or 銀の(gin no) = silver

    翼(tsubasa) = wings

  3. The color silver is, "gin" and it is a noun, not an adjective. So, to make it an adjective, you throw in the particle "no."

"Wings" is tsubasa. There are other words, but tsubasa fits.

    銀の翼(ぎんのつばさ)

    Gin no tsubasa.

I have also heard of "gin'iro" being used in this sense. Gin (silver)+ Iro (color)

    Gin'iro no tsubasa

    銀色の翼

    (Silver-colored wings).
