    According to my Japanese friend popular girl names start with Ai - love or Mi = beauty.

    E.g. Ai - love, Miko - beauty child, Ami - love beauty, Mitsuki - beauty fullmoon, Miyuki - beauty fullmoon, Amiko - same as ami but with child.

  4. curse doll = noroi no ningyou, noroi no wara ningyou (means curse straw doll. a long time ago, some people made straw doll and drive a big nail into a doll to kill someone)

    sunlight = nikkou

    flower = hana

    demon = akuryou (evil spirit), akuma (devil, satan), oni (demon, ogre, gnome, fiend, it/tagger)

  5. wara ningyou わら人形  means "straw doll"

    hizashi  Ã¦Â—¥å·®ã—   sunlight

    hana 花     is flower

    akuma 悪魔    is devil or satan
