Japanese video games???

Ok this may seem a bit confusing

If you have ever watched anime

(good example Ouran High School Host Club)

the characters play this game that is like an interaction game where they chose what they want the video game character to do or say.

In Ouran High School Host Club Renge Houshakuji was obsessed with Kyoya Ootori because he looked like a video game character.

And what I want to know are what are these specific video games called and where do you buy them??

My little cousin is obsessed with trying to find one and I don't have a clue what I should get her or what are suitable for her age group. She's about 15 so she's just a couple of years younger than me .

I think what she's after is an RPG game, like SIMs or Harvest Moon, or something.

Hmmmn... although I'm not sure if the game from Ouran High School was real or not..

the origanal dot hack games are perfect (don't buy the "dot hack GU") inted buy the origanal ones with the charectors kite and blackrose it's a really weird game and the story is just as hard as death note!! ^_^

well its just that, a cartoon, the type of game theyre playing doesnt exist. the closest i can think of is sims, or a mmorpg
