The 2. Bundesliga side, VfL Bochum, are closing in on the signature of Cerezo Osaka midfielder, Takashi Inui, ahead of the 2011/12 campaign. Bochum were previously interested in the player but Osaka’s reluctance to sell the midfielder prompted the German
club to brush away their interest. It has recently been revealed that Bochum once again filed in a bid to recruit the youngster to which Osaka officials reacted positively.
The player himself confirmed about his possible move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and seemed excited at the prospect of playing in one of the top football leagues. He believes that chances of winning silverware would enhance while playing in Germany and therefore was looking
forward towards an opportunity of playing in the Bundesliga. Inui told that he would be flying out to Germany next Tuesday for a medical and hoped to pass the test in order to start his new journey.
Cerezo Osaka officials told that the youngster’s departure would certainly be a huge loss for the club but confirmed that the 23-year-old will feature in the club’s upcoming fixture against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kashima-Antlers-c39675. Osaka manager, Levir Culpi, expressed grief over
the possible departure of the midfielder and reckoned that the club would desperately miss the player’s services.
The Japanese international joined the club in 2009 and managed 93 league appearances for the club during his two-year stay at Nagai Ball Gall Field. He netted 28 goals during the process. The 23-year-old has three international caps under his belt so far
but is yet to open his account for the Japan national side.
Inui has also previously represented the likes of Yokohama F. Marinos (2007-2009) and spent a year on-loan with Cerezo Osaka before joining them permanently the following year.
Bochum manager, Friedhelm Funkel, was delighted with the arrival of the Japanese sensation and was confident about his first team chances at the club. He wished the youngster all the very best for his German journey and hoped that the midfielder could continue
with his good form.
VfL Bochum will travel away to take on Hansa Rostock in their next game on Monday, August 8, at DKB-Arena.
