Jarno Trulli believes he will stay at Team Lotus for 2012 F1 season – Formula 1 news
Lotus driver Jarno Trulli believes he will stay at his current team for the 2012 Formula 1 season.
Trulli said that he is pretty comfortable for the next F1 season with Team Lotus. The team driver added that he is happy as well as satisfied with working with his team’s engineers and other staff.
The Italian driver commented, “I am pretty comfortable for next year. Obviously it is not down to me to say where we are but, yes I am pretty happy with the way we are working with the team and the relationship for the future. I would say that we are settled.”
The 37-year-old driver went on to mention, “There was a big step forward for me with the power steering and it definitely made a huge difference for me. It will be back here and from now on we can start developing it.”
Team Lotus driver, Trulli is driving for Team Lotus since 2010. In the 2011 Formula 1 season, he is still not able to score a single point for his team. Trulli has blamed the power steering issue of his T128 car for his below par performance in the season
so far.
He discussed the power steering issue of his car with his team and after that, they fixed it ahead of the 2011 Hungarian race weekend. He was unable to finish his race at Hungaroring racetrack, as he retired from the Grand Prix due to a water leakage issue.
In the Belgium Grand Prix, Trulli used a revised power steering and tried to make some improvements in terms of performance with his better car. After starting from the 18th place on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, he came at the
14th position in the final race classifications after struggling on the sets of medium and soft compounds.
Apart from that, Trulli is looking forward to a successful race weekend in front of his fans in Italy, which will start from September 09, 2011 at the Monza racetrack.
Let’s see how Trulli manages his race in Monza this weekend following his 14th position in Spa.
