  1. Toyota team improved very well. Trulli is an experienced driver and old enough in the F1 world, but very rare to reach the podium. That is because he is driving a midfield car, and despite of that, he can still bring the car into the top 3.

  2. I think its one leading to the other... Toyota have made a car that responds well to changes in setup, ones that Jarno may require to dial into each circuit... this gives him more confidence to chuck the car into corners and produce the quali laps he is famous for, plus in the race he has the confidence to push as hard as he can consistently too...

I like Trulli, he's still better than his younger teammate Glock and hasn't reached the end of his prime yet like perhaps Coulthard and Fisichella

  3. Maybe he stopped wine testing on a GP weekend

  4. Dan is onto something there. if something goes well you enjoy it more. If you enjoy what you are doing then you do it well. I think Jarno is enjoying his car a bit more lately:)

  5. trulli can be really brilliant on his good days. The Toyota is better than it ever was last year and trulli must be feeling more motivated.

  6. Probably the Toyota improving.

Glock has improved as well, most likely aided by his car.

They seem to have gotten closer to BMW and have proven to be faster on occasion.

I think it's about time they put some of their budget to good use.

  7. He's just doing what he's always done: gone as fast as the car can go, without being able to make it go any faster. That means a Toyota improvement, not a Trulli one.

  8. I think the 06& 07 Toyota was developed to suit Ralf more, Trulli has always been good since standing in for Panis at Ligier/Prost back in 97, he is a typical Italian driver, a track he loves he will impress a track he dislikes, then he's very average.

  9. Toyota look to have improved a bit. BMW have gone backwards a little at the same time, which makes it look more impressive than it is. If Trulli was going to improve, then it would have been after he actually won (at Monaco, wasn't it?)...but that didn't seem to make him take the next step.
