West Ham United attacker and former Wolverhampton Wanderers player, Matt Jarvis has gone on to admit that he is looking to try and fight his way back into the West Ham squad, and hopes to be able to make it back into the Three Lions team in the near
future.
So far, Jarvis has only been able to represent the Three Lions on one occasion, when he was part of the team that took on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 last year.
However, the forward is confident that he will be able to break back into the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 squad, should he start to feature for West Ham more regularly.
"You have to play well for your club and play regularly to be called up for your country and that is exactly what I want to do," he told the club's official website.
"The squad we have is very strong and everyone is fighting for a place in the starting eleven. I am no different and I need to prove myself if I want to be starting week in, week out.”
"Unfortunately I picked up a slight thigh injury in training, which has forced me to miss the last couple of weeks, but I am fully recovered now and I am delighted to be back in the squad and back on the pitch."
Jarvis also feels that West Ham have gotten off to a near ideal start, since the team is operating at the levels that the club would have pre determined.
"I think the manager has got exactly what he wanted with us having a good start and hopefully we can keep the run going this weekend," Jarvis added.
Nonetheless, with things going so well for the club, the team can look to improving their performances even further in the near future.
With Jarvis now back in the team, and with Andy Carroll set to return in the near future, they would be back to full strength once again.
We have already seen what West Ham is capable off, and should they maintain that form and shape, then they could go on and surprise just about everyone in the league.
