Jasmine Tosky wins Women’s 100m breast-stroke crown – 2011 USA Swimming Long Course Junior Nationals
Palo Alto Stanfo’s Jasmine Tosky dominated the Women’s 100m breast-stroke A splash, on day four of the 2011 USA Swimming Long Course Junior Nationals in Paloalto, California, on Thursday, August 11.
The session of the competition organised the Women’s 100m breast-stroke A, B and C finals. In the Women’s 100m breast-stroke A Final, Jasmine Tosky of Palo Alto Stanford took home the golden crown. Annie Zhu of Asphalt Green Un won the Women’s 100m breast-stroke
B Final meet, whereas, Celina Li of Pleasanton Seaha grabbed the 100m breast-stroke C final race.
Firstly, Tosky came out strongly on the podium and notched the Women’s 100m breast-stroke A final meet with an impressive time of 1 minute and 10.24 seconds. Sama Pochowski of Southwest Aquati secured the silver medal on the podium by posting a time of 1
minute and 10.59 seconds, while Katharine Ross of Central Lowa Aqu earned the bronze title in a time of 1 minute and 10.78 seconds.
Sam Senczyszyn of Ozaukee Aquatics finished fourth by submitting a time of 1 minute and 10.91 seconds, while Jamie Christy of Dynamo Swim Club settled fifth in a time of 1 minute and 10.99 seconds.
In the Women’s 100m breast-stroke B final meet, Annie Zhu of Asphalt Green UN earned first place honours in a sterling time of 1 minute and 11.34 seconds. Meanwhile, Taylor Young of Neptune Swimming finished second on the podium by posting a time of 1 minute
and 12.51 seconds, whereas, Sara Borendame of Tucson Ford Deal was placed third in a time of 1 minute and 12.66 seconds.
Celina Li of Pleasanton Seaha won the Women’s 100m breast-stroke C final meet with a sterling time of 1 minute and 12.15 seconds. Jordan Surhoff of North Baltimore wound up second in a time of 1 minute and 12.59 seconds, whereas, Bryce Hinde of Kansas City
Blaz rounded out the top three in 1 minute and 13.06 seconds. Emily Marett of YMCA of Western settled fourth in a time of 1 minute and 13.28 seconds.
