Jason Holder ready to work hard for national selection-Cricket News Update
New find for the West Indian cricket, Jason Holder, is eager to discipline his pace bowling to cement a place in the national team after impressing for the A side.
The fast bowler made a concrete mark in the recently concluded un-official Test series against India A by picking up a 5-wicket haul in the second innings of the opening match, despite ending on the losing side.
“I have been bowling reasonably well, but I still have areas where I could improve upon - the extras and 'boundary balls' are the main areas I need to eliminate," Holder said on eve of the first unofficial One-Day.
The 6'7" pacer has shown remarkable ability with the ball, while sharing the added responsibility to bowl in the death overs. In the first unofficial T20, Holder surprised the visitors by nailing opener, Shikar Dhawan, and later went
on to damage any effort made by the opposition to win the match, finishing with figures of 3 wickets for 19.
"I am always keen on finishing the innings [while bowling], as it's one of the most exciting parts of the game. It's a really good feeling when you bowl a good last over."

the 59-year-old.
Holder is keen to work hard to make his way into the national side, stating, “My ultimate ambition is to play for West Indies. That is still some way off and I know there is a lot of work to do."

Continuing their form, they won the first T20 by a comprehensive margin before dominating the best part of the second game, only to lose the match via a Super Over eliminator.
