  1. Weather is great this time of year!  I suggest layering, so that you will always be comfortable.

  2. Jasper is actually a town, and it is in the Rocky Mountains.  If you are spending time in town, or at the Miette Hot Springs, summer clothing with a jacket for the morning, or in case it gets cool in the evening, is fine.  If you are heading for the Columbia Ice Fields, it is much cooler, obviously, the tour goes out on the glacier.

The link is for the forecast for Jasper.

Maligne Canyon is closer to Banff than Jasper, by the way, but it is well worth the drive.  Go early enough to spend at least half a day hiking up the canyon.

  3. Jasper is such a cute town (not mountains)...check out the tea leaf boutique while your there the have great sales and the cothes are so cute!

  4. Jasper is one of the nicest places in Canada. Have fun ! Go check out maligne canyon

  5. Jasper is a town in the Rocky Mountains...you will probably need a jacket and warm clothing for the nights...during the days anything goes...it may be hot, like T shirt or sleeveless days in the sun..or it could be a bit windy, rainy or what ever...you have to dress for anything weather wise in the mountains in the summer...just be prepared...it  could rain all of the time you are there..or you could enjoy a freak snow squall
