Java updates , can i delete them ?

ive recieved three or four jarva updates over a period of time and noticed when going into add and remove programs that each update has been saved,am i right in saying i can delete them all baring the most up to date one or do i need to keep them all please help as each update is about 150mb and as my pc is,nt that good i need all the mb i can get

Yes you can remove them all (jre and j2se) apart from the most recent version (version 6 update 7). In fact old versions that remain leave pcs open to malicious exploits, vundo/vitumonde is one of those viruses that exploits those vulnerabilities.

No you can't you need all the updates because one follows after the other. Remove the first ones and the last one would not work because it's built on the platform of the others!

The motherboard has nothing to do with the updates.
