Javed Miandad gets support from Shoaib Malik to become Pakistan's batting coach
Former captain of Pakistan national cricket team, Shoaib Malik maintained that the team’s batting line-up needs http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Javed-Miandad-c66580 as the coach if it intends to fix its batting deficiencies. The ex-cricketer is of the view that Pakistan
batting line up will flourish under Miandad’s mentorship and guidance.
"I don`t think there is a better cricketer than Javed Miandad to take over as batting coach. He has a great cricket mind and sharp insight into the game. I think he would be great," stated Malik.

The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board offered Miandad the position of the batting coach before the Men in Green left for the ongoing Caribbean tour. The cricket veteran refused the proposal on account of his personal commitments.
It is known that Miandad demands full authority and control over the roster and does not want to work as subordinate of national team Head Coach, Waqar Younis.

Asif were accused of spot fixing.
The PCB decided to formulate the integrity committee after the spot fixing debacle that occurred during the England Test Series in August 2010. The committee scrutinizes the financial assets of the members of the Pakistan cricket
team.
While majority of the squad members provided the documentation for their holdings, Malik failed to disclose the details of his foreign bank accounts. Consequently, he was not issued clearance by the integrity committee and was
dropped from the ICC World Cup 2011 roster by the team selectors.
Malik stated that the PCB will decide his future in Pakistan cricket as he has now submitted all the relevant documents to the integrity committee.
"I have done my part. Now it is their decision. It is up to the selectors to decide when they want me back for Pakistan," said Malik.
The all-rounder revealed that he has kept himself fit for the cricketing endeavors through his yoga routine and intense training.
"I have been keeping myself fit with Yoga classes and intensive training so I am ready to make a comeback to international cricket whenever they want me to," said the 29-year-old.
He added that joining yoga classes with his wife, the Indian tennis maestro Sania Mirza, has allowed him mental relaxation. It also helped him cope with the setback of being ousted from the national squad.
