Javed Miandad urges cricketing World to visit Pakistan
Former Pakistani cricket player Javed Miandad has urged the cricketing World to visit Pakistan. His comments are just one of many from current and ex-players, in which they are emphasizing that foreign teams visit the troubled region.
Miandad is of the view that cricket in Pakistan is suffering because of lack of top level competition. Pakistan, for the past three years has suffered a lot due to lack of cricket in its own back yard. The spectators and cricket lovers have not been able
to see the top players in action from all over the World.

Miandad further said that Cricket in Pakistan is getting backward and people are losing their interest in cricket. It has been noted in Pakistan that people have started losing their interest in cricket as they have not seen international players in action
for many years.
Apart from that this, it is also a threatening situation for all the Pakistani players as they don’t get to play top teams in their own back yard and this factor is depriving them of sufficient practice for International games. Players all over the World
take great advantages when they play at home and also gain a lot of confidence when they perform at their level best.
Miandad was of the view that Pakistan is one of the best cricketing nations and they have also been the World Champions. He further said that the people of Pakistan love cricket and they want foreign teams to come to Pakistan and play. He also said that
he is ready to give assurance over safety and also urged that somebody must take the first step in visiting Pakistan.
