Excited about the upcoming encounters between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, the former Test captain, Javed Miandad, has urged the two countries to play against each other on a regular basis.
The neighbouring countries have not played a bilateral series against each other since 2007-08, due to the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 and Islamabad. No Pakistani player has taken part in the Indian Premier League (IPL)
after its inaugural edition in 2008.
However, progress on ameliorating the situation has been made in recent times, with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sialkot-c842 Stallions (Pakistan’s domestic T20 winner) all set to become the country’s first team to take part in the Champions League T20 2012, which is scheduled to be played

On top of that, the Green Shirts will visit India in December to play a limited-over series, comprising of three One Day Internationals and a couple of T20s.
Miandad, who is presently in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 to help the Pakistani batsmen, expressed his delight over the resumption of Indo-Pak cricketing ties and hopes to see the two teams play against each other more frequently in future.
“I am very pleased to see India and Pakistan starting their cricket. We don’t mind playing cricket in India. It is nice to see these two countries starting their cricket,” he expressed. “We like to continue with it. Let’s try and come closer. We should not
play once a while, we should play regularly. It’s good for both the countries.”
Indo-Pak cricket encounters install amazing interest in the two nations and the sporting fraternity all across the globe, with some of the former cricketers rating the battle higher than Ashes.
Talking about the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World T20 2012, Miandad said that T20 is a funny game and the results can be extremely unpredictable. The former Pakistan captain maintains that the mega-event is an open affair, with all teams having an equal chance of lifting the
illustrious trophy.
“Its not that easy to tell. Every team knows to play this kind of cricket. In this kind of competition, you need two good players,” the legendary batsman added.
