The Athletic Bilbao star has been linked with a potential transfer to the Camp Nou but is adamant he wants to stay at the San Mames for one more year.

The Basque midfielder shared that he is pleased with life at the San Mames and does not see him wearing a Blaugrana shirt in the coming season. He added that he has contract with Athletic Bilbao until 2016 and wished to honour his commitment.
Continuing on the topic of transfer speculations, Martinez advised fans not to believe everything they read in the newspapers as it is not true.
"I don't see myself playing for Barcelona. I am very happy at Athletic. I have a contract until 2016 and the truth is that I see myself at Athletic [until then]," he was quoted by Antena 3.
"I've read a lot of things in the newspapers, but not everything that's being said is true. If we were to believe all the rumours, I'd have signed for seven different teams already."
Earlier, Martinez has revealed that he will only talk to potential suitors if they reach an agreement with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Athletic-Club-c38535. With the Basque entity asking the midfielder’s 40 million Euros buyout clause to be met, a transfer at the moment looks to be improbable.
