Spanish star, Javi Martinez, claims he was aware of the stature of the Bavarian giants when he signed for them last summer, but winning the treble was something out of the world.
Bayern Munich defensive midfielder, Martinez, insisted he is surprised by his side’s amazing success this season after winning the historic treble. Der FCB won the German league in the shortest time in the history of the Bundesliga

"I definitely knew that the team was capable of greatness, but the fact that at the end of the season we managed this historic triumph was certainly a surprise," Martinez was quoted as saying in an interview.

The talented star suggested he knew the Allianz Arena outfit could achieve amazing things, but no one was expecting them to win all three trophies and that too in such a magnificent way. On the other hand, he admitted that matching
this season would be almost impossible in the future.
"It is going to be difficult, but we will do everything that we can to celebrate again next year like we have this season," he said.
The youngster said the club won three titles and have etched their name in the history books. He revealed no team in Germany has achieved this accomplishment ever before.
Martinez continued that it will be really hard to have a season like this again but they will try their best to do well next year. He signed for Bayern in August 2012 from Athletic Bilbao.
