The former Sevilla custodian could not hide his joy at linking up with Celta Vigo and voiced his desire to do his best for his new employers.

Varas was understandably pleased at signing with the Galician club and did not shy away from revealing what was going in his mind. He claimed that it was the influence of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paco-c29025 Herrera that helped him make up his mind and added that he will give his best
to help the recently promoted outfit.
Continuing on the subject, Varas stated that he was enthused by the project at Balaidos and knows what is at stake for Los Celestes. He remarked that Celta fans have to brace themselves for a tough year in the Primera Division as it is a big step up from
the rigours of Segunda Division.
"I am very excited about this project. I get to Vigo in order to help the team achieve permanence. Know that the first year is tough and first to be suffering, but I come with the intention to help the team," the 29-year-old said while talking to reporters.
"The interest of the Celta first thing I got was a determining factor when making a decision. I appreciated much they would notice me from the beginning," said Varas.
While responding to questions on his fight for a first team spot with Yoel and Alvarez, Varas voiced his desire to give his best in a Celta Vigo shirt.
The experienced goalkeeper was quizzed about his plans for the future, regarding which he was unsure. Varas stated that he has signed a yearlong deal with Celta and will assess his plans after the completion of the footballing campaign.
"It's an assignment for one year. Just landed in the city and still no time to wonder if I will stay longer or not. As the season progresses are valued a lot," he remarked.
