Manchester United’s striker, Javier Hernandez has gone on to admit that he is highly delighted to be compared to Ola Gunnar Solsjaer.
Over the course of his short career with Manchester United, Hernandez has gone on to impress just about everyone with his ability to be in the right place at the right time and score goals at a very frequent pace.
The striker has already managed to score twenty nine goals for the Red Devils and out of those ten of the goals that he score came when he made substitute appearances in matches.
Those ten goals now make Hernandez the second highest goal scoring substitute. The Mexican is second to Solskjaer, who has managed an impressive twenty eight goals from the bench.
Despite being used a substitute lately, Hernandez doesn’t seem to have any problems, since he just wants to represent the Red Devils and cherish every opportunity that he gets, in doing so.
The striker, when talking about his style of play and getting his name on the score sheet is quoted to have said: “In football you can’t always come up with a reason, because of this or that. I don’t play any different [whether I start a game or come on
as a substitute].”
“If I play one minute, 10 minutes or 90 minutes I try to play the same. My mind is always to do my best and help my team. There are some times in the game when we need to score and perhaps I have had a little bit of luck.”
“I just want to help my team. I don’t care if I’m on the bench. Last year I was on the bench at the start and then I was in the team towards the end of the season. The gaffer has the answers.”
At the moment, United don’t have a player who they can claim to be their super sub. However, Hernandez is the player who comes closest to fulfilling that role.
Nonetheless, despite the forwards ability to score goals after coming off the bench, it is safe to assume that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson would still opt to play the forward in the starting eleven, should his injuries not dampen his ability to play for ninety minutes.
