Javier Hernandez looking to win Premier League title in debut season with Red Devils
Mexican international, Javier Hernandez has gone on to state that he hopes to end his debut season with the Red Devils, by landing the English Premier League winner’s medal. The player also went on to add that at the moment, the guidance that is being given
to him and the rest of the squad by the senior members of the club – including Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, is doing wonders to the squad and might just help to be the key to landing the title.
Hernandez has been a goal scoring wonder, ever since he made his move to United at the start of the season. The 22-year-old has gone on to score 19 goals in 42 appearances for the club, while making most of his appearances off the bench.
When talking about the prospect of winning the league title, Hernandez is quoted to have said, “It would mean a lot. I want to win that medal badly, and also to lift the trophy. It would be a perfect end to my first season here.”
Previously, United were being hailed as the run-away leaders in the English Premier League. However following the Red Devils defeat to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-Maseru-c38430 this past weekend, the pressure is mounting on their shoulders. Chelsea are now only three points behind United
and should they beat them, then the title race would go into overdrive.
However, Hernandez feels that United have an ‘X’ factor in the form of veterans http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394, who have more than enough experience to help guide United to the Premier League crown.
When talking about Giggs and Scholes, Hernandez is reported to have said, “They [Giggs and Scholes] tell us that we need to play like Manchester United players, always remembering the club’s rich history and never giving less than 100 per cent on the field.”
The player then ended by stating what United need to do and made it as simple as he possibly could, “We need to avoid silly errors to give ourselves the best chance of winning, and to play every game like it’s our last one.”
At the moment, despite being in such a volatile position, United are still being regarded as the favourites to win the title. Ferguson, along with the senior members of the United squad have the experience that is probably going to be the difference going
into the home-stretch of the season.
It would, however, still not be safe to bet your house on United winning the league just yet though, since the outcome of the game between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and United, could drastically alter the outcome of things.
