Javier Hernandez not satisfied with performances for Manchester United – Premier League Update
Manchester United’s Mexican goal scoring hero, Javier Hernandez has come forth and expressed his dissatisfaction, to the end of the season, after losing out to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the UEFA Champions League finals.
Despite winning the Premier League crown in his debut season with United, the 22 year old forward has stated that the defeat to the Catalans, hurts, however there is a lesson to be learned from the loss.
When talking about the game, Hernandez is quoted to have said: "The defeat obviously hurts"
"There are lessons to be learned, and we have to learn them.
"Now I have nothing to celebrate, nothing to shout about. I'm hurt: these losses always hurt, even moreso in a final.
"You can call this a failure or a disappointment. We would have liked to have lifted the cup, but instead we have to applaud."
The striker despite being disappointed, went on to state that the Spanish team were easily the best in the world and that in a way, they deserved to win. Hernandez, himself failed to register a single shot on the Barca goal, during the proceedings of the game
and could say very little in favour of his team’s performance in the game.
Hernandez then went on to add: "Barcelona won the match well - they were better than us. They're the best football team in the world.”
"You have to applaud them because they're champions."
The striker then ended by admitting to the fact, that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 was easily the best player in the world. Messi scored the second goal for the Catalans in the game, which saw them cruise past the Red Devils by a score line of three goals to one.
Nonetheless, despite suffering a defeat to the Spanish club in the finals of the Champions League, United’s season hasn’t been all that bad. After all, the team is the holder of the Premier League crown and now possesses the record for most English league
trophies ever won, which sits at 19.
However, this response shown by Hernandez can be considered to be a positive one. The forward, by expressing his discomfort in losing, has proven that he is a player who likes to go all out and win big and that is something that would greatly benefit United
in the future.
At the same time, the fact that Hernandez has had such a brilliant impact on United, in just his first season at the club, leads us to wonder just how good the player will be, once he gets used to the style of play in the Premier League.
