Javier Mascherano denies transfer rumors
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and current Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano insisted he was not planning on a Barcelona exit in the summer. The Argentine International has previously played for West Ham United and Liverpool in the English Premier League and is not
keen on a return any time soon.
There have been rumors linking him to a shock move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, but Mascherano firmly denied any such rumors. He said while speaking to reporters, “I have heard the rumors, but I am calm about my situation. I see my present
and my future at Barca, and I don't want to leave this summer.”
The 26-year-old made a highly criticized move to Camp Nou during the summer from Liverpool for a fee of £18 million. He has, however, failed to secure a place in the starting XI at the Catalan side, which has led to rumors that he might be looking elsewhere
for regular football.
Mascherano insisted his future was at Barcelona and he was willing to wait for a chance to play. He continued, “It is a privilege to play some minutes in this super-squad and my mission now is to be patient, to learn and to perform at my best when opportunities
come.”
Sylvain Marveaux to Liverpool
Sylvain Marveaux will be out of contract with the Ligue 1 side Rennes at the end of this season and a statement from the club's general manager Pierre Dreossi, saying he does not expect the 24-year-old to play for Rennes another season, has decided the midfielder's
future.
Marveaux revealed he had decided on a move away and was most likely signing with English Premier League side Liverpool. He said while speaking to reporters, “I am very close to reaching agreement with Liverpool about joining them next season.”

another season.
However, he has now confirmed his future with the Reds and will be making a move to Anfield in the summer transfer window. He is currently sidelined, recovering from a groin injury but is expected to be fully fit in a few weeks.
Dani Alves waiting on new deal
Barcelona defender Dani Alves revealed he was eager to stay with the Catalan side but wondered why it was taking Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola such a long time to offer him a new contract. The Brazilian has been linked with a host of clubs, including big
spending Manchester City but insisted his future was with Barcelona.
The former Sevilla man admitted he was let down with the La Liga side’s hesitation in offering him a new deal. Alves said while speaking to reporters, “I don't feel the club have been doing their utmost to renew my contract, but that's just a feeling I have.
I want an agreement to be reached within a few days.”
