With a four-goal lead, PSG have moved closer to a place in the group stages of the Europa League, which would be a massive boost for both the team and their under pressure coach, who had to wait to get his first win of the season.
PSG will now have to focus on the weekend clash of Ligue 1, where they are still looking to bag their first win of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 Championelle. Kombouare, 47, will be relieved with a win. He now heads home to face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valenciennes-FC-c40865, and a win would
serve to extend his stay at Parc des Princes.
The debut of Pastore was earlier than Kombouare had indicated but it would definitely be the right decision to include him in the squad for the upcoming games of the Ligue 1 as well as Les Parisiens look to return to winning ways in the Championelle.
