The 23-year-old has praised his team-mate and is hoping that the Brazilian will stay with Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming season
Nene’s future in Paris is uncertain as the player has expressed his desire to seek a move away from Les Parisiens following the arrival of several star players at the club.
The cash-laden club from Paris has spent heavily in the transfer market this summer bringing in the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908, who will linkup with the squad in January.
Nene is of the view that his first-team opportunities will be reduced following the arrival of Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi, and warming the bench is not what he wants. At the age of 31, the former Monaco man feels that a move away from Parc des Princes is the
right thing to do.
However, Nene’s team-mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, does not want the Brazilian to leave.
While talking to reporters, the Argentine international praised his team-mate, citing him PSG’s best player of the previous season.
"He was our best player last season," Pastore told reporters.
Nene, who was Ligue 1 joint top-scorer in the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign with 21 goals to his name, has been linked with several clubs in recent past with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Rubin Kazan keeping tabs on him.
However, no club has made a concrete offer for the striker so far and Pastore is hoping that the 31-year-old will change his mind and will stay with PSG for at least another season.
The former Palermo man rates Nene in very high regards and believes that the players is one of the best strikers in the country, who has the ability to win matches single-handedly. Pastore added that the Brazilian is a type of player any team
would love to have in its ranks.
"He's a true goal-scorer, a player who can make the difference and turn a match on its head. We need him."
Nene has made 70 Ligue 1 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain following his move from AS Monaco in 2010, scoring 35 goals in the process.
