The pint sized attacker continued his impressive form on his return to the Iberian Peninsula, following up his strike against Levante with a goal in Malaga’s 3-0 victory over Zenit St Petersburg.

Saviola was understandably pleased with his return against the Russian outfit, as he scored his second goal in as many outings.
Reflecting on the fixture, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Real Madrid attacker hailed the team performance which allowed them to continue their domestic form into the Champions League. Malaga are unbeaten in four La Liga fixtures and currently occupy second place
behind Barcelona.
“We have shown what we can do in the Champions League,” the Argentine striker announced.
Analyzing the fixture, Saviola claimed that Malaga’s early goal gave them the initiative and they capitalized on it with the high tempo. He added that Los Anchovies knew they needed a good performance and are pleased to get the result under their belt.
“We scored very early on and kept up an intense pace, as we were aware that we had to do well in the first game.”
 “We were able to hold them off in the second half then, and we have proved we can beat a tough opponent like Zenit.”
“We have to continue to make this phase of the competition favourable for us.”
