The Nerazzurri skipper is still pondering over the future of his playing career and would look at his
physical fitness to assess his options in the future.
The 38-year-old was the first signing under Massimo Moratti and is currently the longest serving player in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567’s squad at the moment. A handful of appearances would lead him into being the longest serving player in the club’s history. However, the Argentinean
has been on record to state that he is not there to fill the numbers column and seeks to play until he can add value to the team.
Zanetti still has a year left on his contract, and given his services for the club, he might be given an extension to his contract. The veteran and versatile player, who can operate either in the midfield or defence, was talking to the team of Sky Sport
Italia and went on to state:
“I don't know if this will be my final season. On my contract it's going to be my last, but I'll see how I get on and how I feel physically.”
The defender made his way into the Nerazzurri outfit in the summer of 1995, and despite his age is still a regular starter for the team. Zanetti was talking to the press from the Beneamata’s training camp, and stressed that he was always looking to work
for the benefit of the club and the team, and stated that they head into this season on a very positive note.
The versatile player went on to comment on the departures that had taken place this summer, and the signings that the San Siro outfit have made during this season. Inter rescinded the contract of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucio-c22597, who went on to sign a contract with Juventus, and

Speculation also suggests that Inter will be parting ways with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Handanovic-c32356. When quizzed over his opinion, he went on to state:
“Some very good players are no longer here, but others who are just as good have been brought in. I like what the club is doing in the transfer market.”
