The Nerazzurri captain believes that the Milan outfit deserved three points for the dominating display against the Orobici.
Inter Milan have suffered another debacle in their quest to qualify for the next year’s UEFA Champions League.
The Nerazzurri’s game against Atalanta ended in a frustrating goalless stalemate, where the hosts failed to score despite a dictating performance in the match. The Beneamata received an important penalty to open the scoring in
the first half, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Milito’s shot was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Zanetti-c18096 insists that his side dominated majority of the game, and blamed the poor finishing for such a disappointing result. The captain maintained that his team gave very little to the opposition, and the dropped points
are a painful sight for the club, who are struggling to reach the last Champions League qualification spot.
While talking to the press, the 38-year-old said:
"The game was one-sided, it was all Inter. Their game was based entirely around counter-attacks, while we created chances to win the game but we didn't finish them. We gave away very little but sadly we've been penalized by the
result, as we only picked up one point."
The Argentinean has urged his team to forget the latest setback as soon as possible, and shift their focus on the next game against Juventus.
The veteran believes that his team will have more breath in preparations for the clash against Juventus, as the Turin giants will be playing in the Coppa Italia semi-final in the midweek. However, the skipper insisted that despite
the advantage, his team is not happy to be in the situation.
"It's disappointing but now we need to look forward and prepare for our game against Juventus."
The Nerazzurri are already out of Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League. With the Scudetto also getting beyond their reach, third-place finish in Serie A is the only opportunity for the Beneamata to salvage some dignity from their
disappointing season.
