  1. Sounds like TMJ you need to visit a dentist

  2. THE GRINDING IS NEVER A GOOD THING. IN THE FUTURE THIS CAN CAUSE PAINFUL TMJD SYMPTOMS.

YOU NEED FOR YOUR DENTIST TO MAKE YOU AN N,T.I. BRUXISM APPLIANCE. SEE THE LINKS BELOW

PS GRINDING IS DUE TO STRESS AND A NIGHT GUARD WILL NOT STOP THIS HABIT.

  3. Denist always want you to spend a lot of money.

You have TMJ which is from grinding your teeth, and jaw skipping out of place.Child pain reliever like TYLENOL, will help calm ,if painful.Try softer foods, with TMJ harder foods are really harder to eat ,because of all the extra chewing and grinding. A night guard is $30.00 at your local grocery store. or your mom & dad can take you to the Dentist for the same nightguard for  700.00 plus dollars depending on your insurace.$ 30.00 sounds better to me .

    1. I have TMJ.

    2. I am a Dental Assistant

    3.Mother of 4

Hope this good honesty will help you & your parents with what is going on.

  4. First of all stop making it pop. That's not good. By making it pop you will make it hurt. Try some ibuprofen and a mouthguard at night to help with the grinding. Griding and clenching can bother your TMJ (jaw joints).

No eatting bagels, gum or salads for a few days. Give your jaw a rest. Good luck.
