Jaxon Williams claims Boys 200-yard freestyle title: 2011 High School State Championships
Jaxon Williams and Keely Johnson rose to the expectations of their fans at the 2011 High School State Championships in California, USA. The events of the NSCIF Division I Championships were published on November 2. Williams claimed the Boys 200-yard freestyle
title, while Johnson went on to clinch the Girls 200-yard Individual Medley crown.
Williams beat Matt Lin and Trevor Fischer by hitting the finishing cordon in an impressive time of 1 minute and 52.09 seconds to claim the Boys 200-yard freestyle title. Meanwhile, Lin settled at second spot in a time of 1 minute and 54.01 seconds and Fischer
finished third in a blot of 1 minute and 59.23 seconds.
Bryan Clements pocketed fourth position by claiming the finishing line in a spot of 2 minutes and 00.65 seconds, while Sean Thomas earned fifth position in a mark of 2 minutes and 01.42 seconds. In addition, Zach Bettner was placed sixth in a time of 2 minutes
and 02.02 seconds and Jordan Johnson settled for seventh place in a mark of 2 minutes and 02.49 seconds.
Kyle Rosenow earned eighth position in a time of 2 minutes and 05.21 seconds, whereas, Jeff Mayberry settled at ninth spot with a mark of 2 minutes and 12.71 seconds. Finally, Sean Ryan picked tenth place in a time of 2 minutes and 12.93 seconds.
Next, the Girls 200-yard Individual Medley crown was taken over by Keely Johnson in a fastest mark of 2 minutes and 17.79 seconds. Cydni Aird claimed second position by touching the finishing wall in a time of 2 minutes and 21.73 seconds. Maddie Gray settled
at third spot in a time of 2 minutes and 29.78 seconds, while Kimberly Wright earned fourth position by thrashing the finishing barrier in a spot of 2 minutes and 37.60 seconds.
Additionally, Jordan Giacomelli finished fifth in a time of 2 minutes and 43.22 seconds and Gabrielle Breshears settled at sixth position in a spot of 2 minutes and 43.90 seconds. Mayson Trujillo earned seventh place honours by claiming the finishing mark
in a time of 2 minutes and 44.22 seconds, while Apryl Witherspoon earned eighth spot in a mark of 2 minutes and 44.34 seconds.
