Jay feely was cut after just one day....?

what other veteran player in the history of the nfl was cut after just one day?

If the Chiefs didn't need him for more then one day, I don't even know why they wasted their time and signed him. There is no point of signing someone only to let him go the next day.

and I know another player that was released quickly. Well, it wasn't one day after he was signed but the Colts signed Simeon Rice last season only to release him after two games.

that sucks. apparently the chiefs only needed one day to feely him out and decided they didn't want him. i feely kind of bad for him, but i have a feelying he'll sign somewhere else before the season starts.

i read on yahoo sports him and 2 other kickers were in a contest and he lost against Nick Novak and someone else. That's why he got cut.

im thinking that also maybe this was a mutual deal, he knew what was at stake and being that he signed a one year contract, i do not think the coaches would have breached that contract without a mutual parting agreement from Feely.

I dont think there were any other players cut after one day....and im thinking if it was so, it was due to something very significant such as a injury or failing a physical/drug test
