Jayawardene wants a new captain to take-over – Cricket News Update
The Sri Lankan skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DPMD-Jayawardene-c1397, has reiterated that he was given captaincy on a short-term basis and needs a successor for his position as soon as possible.

The right-handed batsman highly regards the team’s interests as he wants to prepare the future captain under his guidance and handover the reigns at the earliest so he can smoothly end his career after transferring responsibilities.
“I would love to groom another leader and hand it over to him as quickly as possible. That's the way Sri Lanka cricket should move on," said the skipper.

“It all depends on the hunger I have. So long as I'm performing to the standards I've set myself I'll play for a little longer, but when the hunger goes that will be the day I quit," said the right-hander.
