Jayesh Desai buys Sachin Tendulkar’s Ferrari which was gifted to him by Michael Schumacher – Cricket News Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jayesh-Gunawantrai-Desai-c66704, an industrialist of the Indian city of Surat, has purchased the Ferrari car that was gifted to Indian batting Maestro, Sachin Tendulkar, by the legendary F1 racer, Michael Schumacher, in 2002.
Schumacher gifted the car to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in 2003 and the Indian authorities, on a request by Tendulkar, waived the custom duty worth INR 1.13 crore on it.
Tendulkar, who is famous for having a rich fleet of luxury cars, used the 360 Modena Ferrari for 8 years before selling it out to Desai.
Desai, the owner of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gordon-Muchall-c1499 excited and proud to have owned the car that has a long legacy of the two top sportsmen of the world.
Talking to the media, Desai said, “I have bought the 360 Modena Ferrari car directly from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sachin-Ramesh-Tendulkar-c87800 with all legal documents. It was my dream to drive a Ferrari and now my dream has come true.”
However, the new owner of Ferrari is not ready to reveal any connection between him and Tendulkar. He stated, “Kindly ask me only about the car and nothing about Sachin.”
The 38-year-old Indian batsman has been inspiring world cricket with the bat since 1989.
The legend poses to be the top-scorer of the time with 14692 Test and 18111 ODI runs with excellent averages of 56.94 and 45.16 respectively.
