Jaynarie, how do you know so much about Nascar?

Your amount of knowledge amazes me. I thought I knew it all. Do you work for Nascar or have ties or something?

I, for whatever reason, am able to store useless information in my head :)   I have a much harder time storing useful information (LOL, sort of kidding!).  Thanks for thinking I know everything (I don't!)!!

I grew up around cars and racing.  My dad always worked on one of his buddies' racecars (and now works on their sons') in his spare time.  Oddly, I wasn't allowed to attend races until high school.  My mom didn't think kids should go.  Anyway, I watched NASCAR for as long as I can remember.

I now live in the Charlotte region and now am able to know more about local things!  Like where drivers live, what's happenning at the shops/events, etc....   I WISH I worked for NASCAR.  I'd give up teaching in a heartbeat!  I love teaching, but I love NASCAR more!

Hey Jaynarie, I'm in Kannapolis. What town are you in? There's a few of us on here from the Charlotte/Mooresville area.

Rowan County's pretty nice, but the land prices are going through the roof in Kannapolis with the Research Center being built and all the development going on.

i think only jaynarie can answer that...  i'm guessing by watching, researching, experience, and by living in the "epicenter" of stock car racing...  am i close?
