Jaytee Tiger, a surprise element in J.Davies Building Stakes at Hove
The odds are not in favour of Jaytee Tiger, but the blue hound is in good position to display a thumping performance in the J.Davies Building Stakes, being held at Hove on Thursday, May 31st.
After sealing a comfortable win on May 20th, P. Young’s trainee did not relax and improved his work dramatically to display an even better show last time. In a 475 metres clash, Go Wild Teddy’s son grabbed the winning
prize despite getting crowded early on.
Following a terrific performance all the way through, the dashing hound made it to the winning post in 28.03 seconds. After two emphatic wins, he is full of spirit. Therefore, one can easily expect him to dominate the proceedings
tonight.
The 475 metres race is scheduled to begin at 21:40 GMT. A cash prize of £150 is reserved for the ultimate champion. Jaytee Tiger is due to compete with some big names such as, Lenson Mac, Guinness Kev, King Bradley, Aero King
and Raithby Lee.
Lenson Mac also holds good chances. After missing the top spot by a neck’s distance, the black and white dog lost his direction and as a result, finished fourth last time out.
Although he has huge talent and the ability to glue to the rails throughout, it is hard to recommend him especially after a below par effort.
Raithby Lee is also coming into this battle after a poor show. In his previous race, J. Heath’s trainee could only beat the back marker after getting baulked twice early in the race.
Guinness Kev recently did business over 285 metres. But it will be a different scenario all together and therefore, he is unlikely to do any damage. King Bradley has been unlucky over the past few weeks. The black dog ended
up third in both of his previous races.
Although there are many dangerous runners in the line-up, Jaytee Tiger’s chances are hard to overlook. He has been doing a wonderful job and will be able to produce a positive result, if he manages to deliver an equally good
show tonight. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
