Jazz Apple Blue to post a back-to-back through winning the Grade A1 420 metres flat race
Droopys Maldini’s three-year-old son, Jazz Apple Blue is high with the chances of bagging the £98 prize money of the Grade A1 420 metres flat race on Wednesday, 11th July at Peterborough. Competing along tonight are, Garlyn Story, Tell Me Maggie, Barnagrane Art and Pistol Jack.
The three-year-old burst into the new season with a disappointing fifth position in the Grade A4 480 metres flat race on 7th January, 2012 at Sittingbourne. The race was won by the favourite entry, Machan Adam, in 29.75 seconds.
A training session got the blue hound in from as he won a 420 metres race at Peterborough on 26th January by racing from the middle and then being the first one to lead. He settled the racing affair in 26.49 seconds and led by the margin of four lengths.
The three-year-old out of b***h, Droopys Quiff, took charge of the Grade A4 420 metres flat from the third position and took 25.98 seconds for resting the race on 3rd March at Peterborough.
Finishing right after the winner was the favourite entry of the race, Ceili Penny, who had the race going for her in 25.99 seconds.
The Grade A3 420 metres flat race on 7th April saw Jazz Apple Blue monopolising the race in 25.97 seconds by being the first among the lot to pick up the lead at Peterborough.
Taking up the second and third slot behind the winner were the joint favourites, Droopys Jenkins and Elmer Fudd.
The favourite entry of trainer, David Pruhs, in the Grade A3 Grantham Caravan Stakes on 15th June at Peterborough over 420 metres, Jazz Apple Blue, had the race going for him in 25.85 seconds.
He led and ran in, leaving no provision for the rest of the lot to become prominent and won by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths.
The most recent success of the three-year-old was in the Grade A2 420 metres flat on 7th July at Peterborough. The favourite entry got hampered initially and then led half way through, concluding the race in 25.73 seconds with 2 ¼ lengths under her belt.
Retaining the composure can get him the race tonight.
