Jazz Gibbo expected to win Coral Standard – Dup
The D. Knight-trained black dog, Jazz Gibbo, is fully committed to capitalise on the form produced by his recent heroics in Open Race format of the game in a bid to claim the title of Gala Coral Standard – Dup that will be held at Hove racecourse on Thursday
night, June 28. The contest over 515 meters is scheduled to begin at 21:24 (GMT).
The prize purse of the race contains £150. Jazz Gibbo has been enjoying great form for the last three months. The three-year-old veteran hound delivered decent performances in his last 8 consecutive OR ventures. Except one at Romford, all these races took
place at the same venue where he will run tonight.
The son of Westmead Hawk out of Jazz Hurricane marvellously won Gala Coral Maiden by the margin of 3 lengths on May 20. That Open Race went down at Hove.
Following this glaring triumph, he moved ahead to prove his class by winning Dine In Style In The Pavilion at Romford on June 1. The maverick hound again accomplished a grand victory in Coral hove Standard on June 17. The dashing dog finished 5th
in his last outing on June 21.
Overall, Jazz Gibbo is known for his offensive and audacious style of running. In tonight’s event, he will surely repeat his class to thrive emphatically.
However, he will have to face some resistance from Farloe Mysterio who has been doing well in different formats since the last couple of months.
The P. Curtin-trained black dog elegantly finished first in Ladbrokes Pall Mall Stakes Second Semi Final over 450 meters at Oxford on June 14, 2012.
He moved on to finish third in his last OR outing on June 19. Earlier, the son of Hondo Black out of Farloe Charity had made some marks during March and April 2012.
Thus, there is likely to be a fierce battle between Farloe Mysterio and Jazz Gibbo. Let us see who of the two manages to thrive.
Parkwest Leo too looks to be strong enough. The C. Gardiner-trained fawn dog nicely finished first in his last start on June 22. This was an OR event entitled as The Chase Restaurant that took place at Romford. This sterling success has hiked his confidence
level greatly.
Thus, he can prove to be dangerous for both Farloe Mysterio and Jazz Gibbo.
So let us enjoy a thrilling action at Hove. Good luck to all the six hounds.
