Jealousy Short Story Ideas...?

Question

Okay, well for English i need to write a story about jealousy, but i cannot use the work jealous. I have no idea what to write. Any ideas???? Also I have to read it in front of the class so, i don't want to seem stupid..

I was maybe going to write it about a homeless person who wishes he had everything that other people do, but how would i start that???

I'm not sure if this will help but you could use it as the usual form like a jealous partner or someone who wants to be like another person. Which i'm sure i've just explained the obvious. Well the best one i can think of that shouldn't embarrass you would either be someone (could be the homless person) and you could have them have a feeling when they see something they want and have them go through different times with that feeling but they never are able to name it. so it will imply the feeling without using it Sorry if this is a waste.
