  1. Police.

Ginger Tom, I didn't know the penalty for outstaying your visa

was death by firing squad. At least it wasn't a member of your friends or family, eh?

  2. Police officers. Highly professional ones doing a role very few other people could do or could cope with doing.

  3. If he had gone back to his own country when he was supposed to, he would still be alive, there by hangs a tale

  4. This was definitely the police and not the SAS. Intelligence services played a part in the initial build up, however it was armed UK cops that dealt with the subject.

The weapons were either MP5 or Glock pistols, most probably the latter. Both use 9mm ammo. The MP5 used by the police is single shot variant. We do not have this weapon in an automatic version.

The manner in which the male was shot is something that has never been seen in this country before and something that has never been utilised by armed cops before. There is a good reason for that. In a normal policing mode the officers would stand off and issue a challenge to the subject. This was a suspected terrorist with a bomb. Give a challenge and you equally give the person the chance to detonate the bomb. Likewise shoot to stop and you equally give the person the opportunity to detonate. The only way was to get in close and personal. Hence what actually happened, which was how it was intended.

Of course it sounds brutal, but so is a bomb that rips hundreds of people to shreds.

Clearly mistakes were made regarding the identity of this male. This was the fault of the surveillance teams and commanders not the firearms officers. They had to trust the information given to them. Innocent tube travellers lives counted on that info.

Had the male been a bomber then countless lives would have been saved.

  5. Stupid and unprofessional Policemen ... an absolute disgrace

  6. Deffo police

  7. Police.
