Toro Rosso driver Jean-Eric Vergne has said that he is confidently looking forward to perform well in the 2013 British Grand Prix after attaining strong result in the preceding race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal.
Vergne performed amazingly well in the Canadian GP and managed to secure his career-best 6th place finish after taking a start from 7th grid slot which has given him a lot of confidence.
The Australian driver expressed great delight over his result in the previous race and asserted that he is positively eying to carry on the same momentum in the next grand prix.
“This is an important result,” Vergne said. “It shows we are doing a good job, especially at the factory. It gives everybody in the team a shot of confidence. So much so that on Sunday evening I was having a long chat with my engineer about the next race,
in Silverstone. We have to keep momentum and I'm looking forward to racing there again.”
