The Troyes coach rates the 17-year-old in high regards and has tipped the youngster for a bright future after seeing him score his first goal for the senior side in Thursday’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Stade Rennais

result.
However, despite the defeat, there were still some positives to be taken from the game and the one thing that has pleased the boss to great extent, is the performance of Corentin Jean, who scored his first goal for the senior side on Thursday.
Jean-Marc Furlan was talking to reporters at a press conference and when asked about his side’s defeat at the hands of Rennes in Coupe de la Ligue, the coach had a lot of positive things to say about Troyes’ performance on the pitch.
The 55-year-old said that despite the defeat, he is remaining calm and there are a lot of positives to be taken from that game. The coach said that Jean Corentin is a tough lad and he has a bright future ahead.
“[17-year-old Corentin] Jean [who scored his first goal for the senior team], he's a heavyweight. He's very tough, I can tell you.”
Furlan added that he has been impressed by what he has seen of the striker so far and what he is doing at such a young age is phenomenal. There are a lot of young players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 at the moment but added that Troyes need to be careful with the youngster.
“We've seen what he's capable of in training for the last three months. What he's doing at 17 is pretty extraordinary, and believe me - I've seen a lot of players. But we have to be careful to integrate him gradually."
Talking about Troyes’ elimination from Coupe de la Ligue, Furlan said that he is sad with the result but they are leaving the competition with their heads held high.
“However, we leave the competition with our heads held high.”
