Lyon President has revealed that Le Gones are yet to receive any offers for Hugo Lloris amid reports linking him with a move away from Stade de Gerland this summer
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 number 1 has been targeted by more than one Premier League club in recent times. Lyon’s official statement, saying that the club will allow their star man to leave for the right price, has only increased the number of interested parties in the
Frenchman.
English Premier League club Arsenal are keen to add http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408 to their ranks and club manager Arsene Wenger is very much serious in bringing his compatriot to the Emirates.
However, the Gunners are not the only club in race for the signature of the former Nice player. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 FC and Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the French captain.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has reiterated that Lloris will only be allowed to leave for the right price and any club interested in him needs to meet the club’s 20 million Euros valuation of the player.
While talking to reporters, Aulas stated that so far no club has made an official approach for the player. The Frenchman conceded that if a top European club meets their asking price for Lloris, Lyon will not stand in the way of Lloris and he will be allowed
to leave.
"Lloris told me that he would like to leave if he has an opportunity to play for one of the five biggest European sides," Aulas told club’s official website.
"If any of these teams make an offer meeting his market value, €20m, he will be allowed to leave.”
Jean-Michel Aulas admitted that Arsenal are interested in Lloris and have inquired about player’s availability in past. However, Lyon president stressed that neither Arsenal nor any other club have made an offer for the France international.
"For now, though, I have not received any offers, neither from Arsenal nor from elsewhere."
Hugo Lloris has spent four years at Lyon following his 8.5 million move from Nice in 2008. The 25-year-old, who captained Les Blues at Euro 2012, has made 144 Ligue 1 appearances for the club.
