The Lyon president has slammed the Tottenham Hotspur chairman, following the departure of Hugo Lloris to White Hart Lane
Spurs finally succeeded in their attempts to attain the services of the France international. The London club paid 8 million Pounds to Lyon, which could rise to 12 million, for the signature of the talented shot-stopper.
However, Lyon president, Jean-Michel Aulas, is not happy with the way Spurs did business with them.
While talking to reporters, the 63-year-old hit out at Daniel Levy, claiming that the club chairman changed his stance on more than one occasion over certain agreed aspects of the transfer.

The president of the Ligue 1 outfit added that they wanted to finalise a deal with the London giants because the delay was affecting Hugo Lloris. Lyon honoured their part of the deal but Aulas claimed that Tottenham Hotspur failed to do the same.

Jean-Michel Aulas stated that he has been in this business for so many years and has done a number of deals regarding players’ transfers.
However, the chairman said that the negotiations with the Spurs directors were the hardest he has ever had, and he is not pleased with that at all.
“It's been very, very difficult. The negotiation with the Tottenham directors has been the hardest I have ever had to undergo in these 25 years.”
