Everyone in France knows that Ligue 1 giants, Olympique Lyonnais have to sell a few players before they can think about delving in the transfer market. Les Gones’ financial conditions are not as woeful as that of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127, but they have to
be very careful in their dealings from now on.
The likes of Hugo Lloris, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kim-c20955 Kallstrom have been linked with moves away from the Stade de Gerland but nothing concrete has been reported yet.
Hugo Lloris has been hotly linked with a move away from the province of Rhone with English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur touted as the possible destination. However, the London club is yet to make a concrete proposal to OL according to President
Jean-Michel Aulas.
Aulas rates Lloris at around 20 million euros and Spurs are willing to pay 15 million euros which means that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international is still a Lyon player.
While talking to L’Equipe, Aulas revealed that the club is yet to receive a formal offer for the goalkeeper and said that the player will stay at the club.
“There is no formal offer for Hugo Lloris. He’ll stay and everyone will be happy.”
Striker Bafetimbi Gomis’ Lyon career is seemingly over following gang rape accusations a few weeks back. However, Aulas says that the club is yet to take a decision on the Frenchman’s situation as no club has made a good offer for him.
“We have not received an offer that matches what we want and we have not yet taken any decision about him.”
Aly Cissokho has been hotly linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and Aulas claims that he has held “serious discussions” with a few Premier League sides over the player’s departure. Cissokho is attracting interest from the likes of Newcastle United and West Ham
United and is likely to leave the club.
Though Michel Bastos has also expressed his desire to leave Lyon, no club has approached the Brazilian which means that the player could play for the seven-time champions of France for one more season.
