The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408 and Bafetimbi Gomis but the trio seems to be keen on staying at the club
Already, Olympique Lyonnais have lost the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aly-Cissokho-c5313 and Jeremy Pied in the summer transfer market. However, selling five players does not seem to satisfy club president, Jean-Michel Aulas. Besieged by financial
constraints, the Lyon supremo is looking to further reduce the burden on the club’s payroll.
The likes of Michel Bastos, Hugo Lloris and Bafetimbi Gomis have been heavily linked with moves away from Stade de Gerland but so far, the trio is still in the Rhone province.
Shocked by the words of Jean-http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Al-Ain-c38290 came calling. However, so far, the move has not materialised
largely because neither party is willing to give the other one an inch to yield.
If Michel Bastos’ case has been dragged, the same can be said of France international Bafetimbi Gomis. The former AS Saint-Etienne man is heavily courted by the likes of Rubin Kazan, Fenerbahce and Fulham.
Aulas agreed transfer fee with all three clubs but Gomis chose not to jump ship and is willing to bid his time with the seven-time Ligue 1 champions. Keen on imposing himself in Didier Deschamps’ http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 national side, Gomis wants to stay in Lyon as he feels
that he will get more opportunities to play for Les Bleus if he stays at the Gerland.
Finally, the case of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is wide open. The France international was initially keen on leaving Lyon for English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. After intense negotiations, Aulas agreed to sell the player to the Spurs for 11 million
euros plus 4.5 million euros on bonuses.
However, today, things changed dramatically as the 25-year-old failed to agree personal terms with the residents of White Hart Lane. Reports claim that Lloris does not agree with what the London club has offered him which means that there is a chance that
he stays at Lyon for one more season.
