Question:

Jeans for a tall, skinny boy?

My 9 yr-old has very long legs and a very skinny waist. I have been buying him size 8 jeans because they fit length wise but they are sooo huge on his waist. But now 8s are getting too short for him and I can't imagine buying 10s because the 8s are still so big on his waist. Adults have long and tall jeans... I've looked everywhere and can't find a tall or long jean for kids...I know I can't be the only one with this problem!!! Thanks in advance!

  1. I buy my boys who are thin the jeans with the adjustable waist inside. I also buy slim. Most jeans come in regular, slim and husky. You can try a 10 slim that should do the trick and if you buy the ones with the adjustable waist then you can tighten them if needed and then loosen them when necessesary.

  2. Be sure to try the slims with him with you.  I also have a slim boy who is 7, 54 inches and only 50lbs!  He wears a medium 10-12 shirt, the 8 is too short, and should wear an 8 slim but they are big in the waist!

  3. My friend buys her sons jeans at Sears and she gets him tall and slim. He is the same way. I think she buys Wranglers.

  4. yeah my daughter has same kind of problem.

go to old navy and get your regular jeans. size 10 for legnth but when it comes to the waist problem get him the adjustable waist band. Its built inside and you can make the waist tighter!
